The Smiling White Dog

A companion, translated in silk.

Light grey stitches outline the dog’s soft coat without filling the whole silk ground. Dark eyes and a black nose draw the face into focus, while the vivid red tongue gives the portrait its cheerful character. The open space around the head lets the fine fur work remain the centre of attention.
